Karnataka has unveiled a strategic blueprint to transform its 320-kilometre coastline by upgrading infrastructure and introducing a Goa-inspired tourism policy. The plan focuses on developing beach tourism across Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Uttara Kannada through improved connectivity, regulated beach shacks, water sports, and eco-friendly resorts. The government aims to balance tourism growth with environmental protection while positioning Karnataka’s coast as a world-class destination offering leisure, culture, and sustainable travel experiences.
