George proposed establishing cruise services connecting Mangaluru to Goa alongside the introduction of Kerala-style houseboats. These projects aim to utilize the region’s scenic waterways to attract more tourists. Authorities are currently developing necessary infrastructure and regulatory frameworks to support private operators and ensure that these maritime tourism offerings effectively boost the regional economy.
