Kanyakumari has introduced India’s first glass bridge, a 77-meter structure linking the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar Statue. Inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, the bridge features a bowstring arch design and reinforced glass built to withstand coastal conditions. Offering panoramic sea views, the attraction enhances accessibility between two cultural landmarks and is expected to significantly boost Tamil Nadu’s tourism appeal.
