Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport has introduced 70 AI-powered e-gates to streamline passenger check-in and departure. Installed across Terminal 1 and the Executive Office, each gate can process up to 2,500 passengers, boosting the airport’s capacity to 175,000 daily. This makes it Saudi Arabia’s third airport with e-gates, following Riyadh and Neom Bay. The initiative aligns with Vision 2030, enhancing efficiency and modernizing the aviation sector for a seamless travel experience.
