Japan Airlines (JAL) is expanding its fleet with 17 additional Boeing 737-8 aircraft, complementing its previous order of 21 Boeing 737-8s to replace its 737-800s on domestic routes. Additionally, 11 Airbus A321neo will replace Boeing 767s on key Haneda routes. For international expansion, JAL will introduce 10 Boeing 787-9s and 20 Airbus A350-900s, with ZIPAIR also integrating 787-9s. By 2030, JAL aims to grow its international business 1.5 times, improving service, efficiency, and sustainability with a modernized, fuel-efficient fleet.
