Jammu and Kashmir will develop nine new tourist destinations while reopening previously closed travel sites ahead of the peak season. The government is also upgrading infrastructure in Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, alongside major projects like Jammu Lake and the Jammu Riverfront to strengthen tourism growth across the Union Territory.
