Jammu and Kashmir is preparing to develop seven new ski destinations across scenic regions including Sonamarg, Doodhpathri, Tosamaidan, Bangus, and Gurez. Known for snow-covered meadows, mountain landscapes, and long winter seasons, these locations are expected to expand adventure tourism beyond Gulmarg. The initiative aims to attract more domestic and international visitors while creating new opportunities for local communities.
