Indian Railways has introduced the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express, redefining overnight train travel with modern amenities and eco-friendly features. Operating on the Howrah–Kamakhya route, the train offers private berths, bio-vacuum toilets, touchless systems, CCTV security, and regional cuisine. Officials say the new sleeper service improves comfort, sustainability, and long-distance rail travel experience across India.
