India’s regional airline FLY91 has expanded its fleet with two ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft to strengthen domestic air connectivity. Leased from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise and TrueNoord, the aircraft will support new routes linking tier-2 and tier-3 cities with major hubs. Airline officials say the move aligns with the UDAN vision, improving affordable regional travel, boosting tourism, and enhancing economic access across underserved markets.
