Indian travellers are increasingly choosing shorter micro-cations during the monsoon, with domestic travel searches rising nearly 40% year-on-year. Searches for non-metro destinations have also climbed by more than 40%, highlighting growing interest in Coorg, Kochi, Udaipur, Varkala, Jaipur and Goa. These three-to-five-day getaways are gaining popularity among couples, friends and families seeking flexible breaks, local experiences and monsoon-friendly escapes closer to home.
