Indian Railways will introduce a new Amrit Bharat Express connecting Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu with Charlapalli in Telangana, strengthening long-distance travel across southern India. The train will cover over 1,500 kilometres in around 28–30 hours, linking major stops including Madurai, Tiruchchirapalli and Tirupati. Equipped with modern safety features and upgraded coaches, the service aims to improve comfort, connectivity and regional mobility.
