Indian Railways has extended special train services connecting Delhi, Bihar and West Bengal until June 2026 to manage rising passenger demand. Key routes like Barauni–Delhi, Darbhanga–Delhi and Patna–Howrah will continue operations with added coaches and improved onboard comfort. A new Patna–Gaya daily service has also been introduced to reduce congestion, ensuring smoother, more reliable travel for students, families and migrant workers.
