India is tackling congestion at Delhi and Mumbai airports with two mega-projects: Navi Mumbai International Airport and Noida International Airport at Jewar. The airports will operate as twin hubs, handling domestic and cargo traffic while existing hubs focus on international flights. Navi Mumbai will eventually handle up to 90 million passengers, while Noida targets over 70 million. Together, they aim to improve connectivity, boost cargo capacity and drive regional economic growth.
