India has expanded e-visa access by adding 11 international ports, nine land ports and two airports, taking the total to 88 entry points. The move makes travel more accessible for visitors from 172 countries, while around 78% of visas issued are now electronic. With 95% of e-visa applications processed within 72 hours, the expansion is expected to simplify arrivals and strengthen India’s appeal to international travellers.
