India and Vietnam have signed new agreements focused on tourism, cultural exchange and economic cooperation during Vietnamese President To Lam’s state visit to India. The partnership includes plans to strengthen bilateral tourism, expand direct flight connectivity and promote cultural and Buddhist tourism exchanges. Both countries also signed a Cultural Exchange Programme for 2026–2030 aimed at improving long-term people-to-people engagement and regional cooperation.
