India and Italy have agreed to expand tourism cooperation following their second Joint Working Group meeting on tourism, held on 29 September 2026. Discussions covered tourism data exchange, promotion of lesser-known destinations, film tourism, destination partnerships, skill development and business engagement. Both countries also discussed opportunities linked to the proposed India–Italy Year of Culture and Tourism 2027, aiming to encourage cultural exchanges and tourism partnerships.
