Medellín will debut its first urban beach by April 2027 as part of the $49 million Gran Parque de Medellín project. Set within the redeveloped Juan Pablo II aeropark, the site will feature a 17,000 m² aquatic zone, expanded jogging and cycling circuits, sports facilities, and leisure areas. Designed to enhance recreation, support athletes, and boost tourism, the project highlights Medellín’s vision for innovation, active living, and sustainable urban development.
