IATA has launched its Contactless Travel Directory to accelerate the adoption of biometric travel solutions. The directory helps airlines identify contactless capabilities at airports, offering data on biometric touchpoints, traveler eligibility, and technical protocols. It supports IATA’s One ID initiative to streamline air travel through facial recognition. Digital providers like Airware, IDEMIA, and iPassport will demo the system at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Madrid this week.
