Himachal Pradesh has launched its Eco-Tourism Policy 2024 to develop 77 eco-tourism sites across the state, aiming to generate ₹200 crore over five years. The initiative promotes sustainable travel, job creation, and conservation. Activities include trekking, forest camping, and birdwatching. Bookings for over 100 sites are now online, with a mobile app underway. Local youth are being trained as guides and workers to support eco-friendly tourism growth.
