Himachal Pradesh has launched the Border Tourism initiative, granting tourists access to scenic frontier areas of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti. Inaugurated by CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu from Shipki-La, the project allows regulated visits to spots like Lepcha-La and Gue Monastery. Aimed at sustainable tourism and inclusive development, the initiative streamlines entry while preserving tribal heritage and ensuring security with support from ITBP and the Indian Army.
