IndiGo will launch bi-weekly nonstop flights between Guwahati and Bangkok from October 27, 2026, marking its first international operation from Guwahati. The route creates direct international connectivity for Northeast India and strengthens links with Thailand. The service is expected to support leisure and business travel, tourism, trade and cultural exchange. It also positions Guwahati as an emerging international gateway, giving travellers from the region a more convenient route to Southeast Asia.
