Guntur in Andhra Pradesh is set to receive a ₹108 crore, four-lane bridge to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion. The 668-metre structure will replace a railway level crossing on the Guntur–Krishna Canal section, connecting Bus Stand Road with Gorantla village. Funded by Indian Railways, the project aims to reduce waiting times, improve road safety, save fuel and ensure smoother movement for commuters and commercial vehicles across the region.
