Greece has unveiled a nationwide plan to restore its historic thermal springs as eco-luxury wellness destinations. Led by KEDE and supported by EU funding, the initiative targets sustainable tourism, rural revitalization, and green growth. Over 750 underused springs will be modernized with spa facilities, green tech, and health programs. This strategic push positions Greece as a leading Mediterranean hub for regenerative travel and wellness tourism.
