GOL has launched direct flights between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon, marking its entry into direct European operations. The Lisbon service operates four times weekly from September 16 using Airbus A330 aircraft. The route provides a direct travel option between Brazil and Portugal while supporting tourism, business travel and cultural exchange. It also adds international capacity and strengthens connections between Brazil and Europe.
