GMR Airports Limited has officially assumed operations of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur, marking a major step in expanding its airport network. Under a 30-year concession, the company plans to modernise the airport, boost passenger and cargo capacity, and strengthen regional connectivity. The development is expected to position Nagpur as a key aviation and logistics hub for Central India.
