The Jammu–Srinagar Vande Bharat Express crosses the Chenab Railway Bridge, the world’s highest railway arch bridge, standing 359 metres above the riverbed. The route also passes over India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge at Anji. The approximately five-hour journey connects Jammu Tawi and Srinagar through spectacular Himalayan landscapes. The train recently crossed both landmark bridges at 100 kmph after Railways increased the permissible speed on the Katra–Banihal section.
