Rail connectivity between Karnataka and Maharashtra is receiving a major boost with the launch of a new bi-weekly Bengaluru-Mumbai express train connecting SMVT Bengaluru with Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. The route passes through Davangere, Hubballi, Belagavi, Pune and Lonavala, improving access for both business and leisure travellers.
