Flydubai is expanding its operations in Syria by reinstating direct flights to Aleppo International Airport (ALP) starting July 20, 2026. This daily service will complement existing flights to Damascus, aiming to strengthen connectivity for the Syrian diaspora in the Gulf region and cater to strong demand for business, VFR, and cargo. The airline’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, highlighted the importance of supporting the Dubai aviation hub and providing direct air links to underserved markets. This move marks flydubai’s return to Aleppo after nearly 14 years.
