Malaysia has launched its CRRC ETS3 electric trains, revolutionizing travel between Kuala Lumpur and Johor. The 285 km journey now takes just 3.5 hours, with six-car trains seating 312 passengers, including 36 in business class. Built partly in Malaysia’s Batu Gajah complex, the ETS3 strengthens local manufacturing while offering modern comforts like a bistro, safety systems, and speeds up to 140 km/h. The rollout marks a major step in Malaysia’s rail modernization.
