Etihad Rail will launch its passenger service on June 30, 2026, connecting Abu Dhabi and Fujairah in the first phase of the UAE’s national rail network. The 900-km system will eventually link 11 cities across all seven emirates. Trains will operate at speeds of up to 200 km/h, offering modern amenities and improving connectivity across the country.
