Etihad Airways will launch direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Gothenburg from December 17, creating the first direct air link between Gothenburg and the UAE. The seasonal service will operate four times weekly until March 21, 2027, using Airbus A321LR aircraft with First Suites, Business and Economy cabins. The route is expected to strengthen connectivity between West Sweden, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.
