Egypt will introduce a unified USD 15 fee for entry and transit visas at ports of entry and consular services abroad from January 1, 2027. The change, approved by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, replaces variable fees and raises the levy from USD 12. However, travelers may still face different total visa costs due to recent increases in tourist visa and e-Visa fees.
