The RTA has unveiled a new 1,210-meter bridge as part of the Al Shindagha Corridor redevelopment, now 90% complete. This bridge will cut travel time from 104 minutes to just 16, easing congestion and enhancing connectivity. Designed for 4,800 vehicles per hour, it streamlines traffic from Infinity Bridge via Al Mina Street to Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Streets. The 4.8 km project includes five bridges, with the second—completed in January—handling 3,200 vehicles per hour on Sheikh Rashid Road.
