Dubai has approved an AED 500 million redevelopment of Umm Suqeim Beach to elevate tourism and public leisure experiences. The project spans 3.1 kilometres and will expand the beach area by 30 percent, featuring smart lighting, cultural landmarks, mobility hubs, and climate-resilient design. Authorities expect the upgraded beach to attract up to six million visitors annually, reinforcing Dubai’s vision of world-class, sustainable coastal destinations.
