Dubai International Airport has introduced a new AED 85 million biometric travel system, allowing passengers to move through check-in, immigration, lounge entry, and boarding using facial recognition. Powered by Emirates in collaboration with GDRFA, the system replaces passport and boarding pass checks, significantly reducing queues and touchpoints. With more than 200 biometric cameras now operational, travelers can expect quicker processing, enhanced comfort, and a smooth contactless journey — marking a major step in next-generation global travel.
