Maharashtra has announced toll-free travel to Konkan for Ganeshotsav from September 11 to 27, 2026. The exemption covers selected roads, including the Mumbai-Bengaluru and Mumbai-Goa national highways, along with routes toward Konkan. Vehicles using Atal Setu can also qualify. Special Ganeshotsav passes will be issued through police and RTO offices, while MSRTC buses travelling toward Konkan will receive the exemption, making festival journeys easier for travellers.
