Air India Express is launching direct flights between Chennai and Bagdogra from May 1 to meet rising summer travel demand for Eastern Himalayan destinations like Darjeeling and Gangtok. Operating six days a week, the new non-stop route is expected to improve regional tourism connectivity while making hill station travel faster and more convenient for travelers from Southern India.
