A major four-lane highway expansion is set to significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Dharamshala to around six hours. The project includes the widening of a key 99-km stretch of NH-503, improving connectivity through Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Once completed, the upgraded corridor is expected to boost tourism to Dharamshala, McLeod Ganj, Palampur, and Bir while supporting regional economic growth.
Dharamshala may soon be just 6 hours from Delhi by road
