India will begin testing a new hub-and-spoke aviation system on the Delhi-Varanasi route from June 1 to simplify passenger transfers between domestic and international flights. The model aims to reduce transit delays, improve baggage and immigration processing, strengthen regional airport connectivity and support India’s long-term vision of becoming a major global aviation hub.
