Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) introduced additional train services, ticketing facilities and staff support on September 25, 2026, to manage increased passenger demand during the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus strike. Major interchange stations, including Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Hauz Khas and Mandi House, were expected to experience heavy crowds. Commuters were advised to allow extra travel time, consider alternative interchange routes and follow official announcements for service updates.
