Delhi International Airport will increase international passenger-handling capacity at Terminal 3 ahead of the BRICS Leaders’ Summit. Pier C will progressively begin international operations from September 9, with arrivals and departures planned from September 10. The expansion will raise annual international passenger capacity to 31 million. The upgrade strengthens Delhi’s position as a major international gateway and provides additional capacity for travellers as passenger demand continues growing.
