Egypt is transforming its tourism industry with new guide certification programs and language testing. Licensed guides are now required to pass proficiency exams in high-demand languages like Japanese, Portuguese, and Korean. The Ministry of Tourism also launched intensive training for aspiring guides, preparing them for global tourism needs. These efforts aim to improve service quality and attract diverse travelers as Egypt works toward welcoming 30 million tourists annually by 2028.
