Trip.com booking data shows Chinese travellers are moving European holidays earlier around the 2026 National Day break. About 62 per cent of recorded European travel dates fall between September 25 and 30, while 38 per cent fall between October 1 and 7. Italy is benefiting strongly, with France also seeing broader demand. Average trip duration has increased to 16.1 days from 14.8 days in 2025.
