Indonesia is witnessing strong tourism growth in 2026, with China emerging as its fastest-growing inbound market after recording a 44% increase in accommodation searches during the first half of the year. Improved air connectivity, competitive travel costs and rising interest in destinations such as Bali, Jakarta, Lombok and Batam Island are helping strengthen the country’s appeal among international travellers.
