The Centre has approved two major tourism projects in Kerala, costing Rs 169.05 crores. The “Alappuzha- A Global Water Wonderland” project (Rs 93.17 crore) will enhance water tourism. In contrast, the “Enhancement of Tourist Experience at Malampuzha Garden and Leisure Park” project (Rs 75.87 crore) will improve facilities at a popular tourism site. Both initiatives aim to boost Kerala’s tourism appeal domestically and internationally.
