The Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram is set to begin commercial operations on August 17, with plans to introduce direct international flights to the US, Europe and Australia. Developed through a public-private partnership with GMR, the airport will also connect with major Indian cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Pune and Varanasi, strengthening North Andhra’s tourism, trade, cargo and investment potential.
