Indian Railways has converted the popular SMVT Bengaluru–Bidar bi-weekly special trains into permanent services following strong passenger demand across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The move is expected to improve year-round connectivity, easier ticket availability and smoother travel for students, professionals, pilgrims and business travellers. Officials believe the regularised service will further strengthen regional mobility and long-distance rail access across key districts.
