Bengaluru has become Akasa Air’s largest pet-travel hub, accounting for more than 30% of the airline’s pet journeys. More than 3,700 pet journeys have originated from the city, while demand increased 53% between FY24 and FY26. Pet travellers from Bengaluru now reach 16 destinations, reflecting growing demand for domestic air travel with cats and dogs.
