Barbados has become the fastest-growing cruise destination in the Caribbean, recording a 31.5% year-on-year increase in cruise passenger arrivals through the first three quarters of 2025. The island welcomed nearly 500,000 cruise visitors, driven by port upgrades, increased ship calls, and expanded cruise itineraries. Improved infrastructure at Bridgetown Port and growing airline connectivity have strengthened Barbados’ position as a key cruise hub supporting wider tourism growth.
