Archer Aviation has partnered with Ethiopian Airlines to introduce electric air taxis in Africa under its “Launch Edition” program. Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest carrier, will deploy Archer’s Midnight aircraft to develop an urban air mobility network and explore eco-tourism opportunities. Archer will provide operational support, software, and booking infrastructure. This marks Archer’s second Launch Edition customer after Abu Dhabi Aviation. Both companies will work with Ethiopian regulators to ensure safe deployment, aiming to revolutionize regional travel with sustainable, efficient air mobility solutions.
